Food for Purchase:  Includes many Greek Fest Favorites

“Taste of Greece”, a family friendly food event, will be held March 7 at Breaking Bread Banquet Hall in Sheboygan. Organized by Sheboygan’s Greek Fest sponsors, St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, the fundraiser will also include a dancing demonstration.

Doors will open at 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and both admission and parking is free.

Food and pastry will be available for purchase all day long.

Members of the church and Breaking Bread staff will prepare traditional festival style foods including Greek chicken, spinach pie, gyro sandwiches, Greek sausage, pastitsio (lasagna) Greek fries and salad. There will also be homemade Greek cookies, pastry and Baklava. All will be available for purchase at a “food stand” presentation, with both tables for eating at the banquet hall and carryouts available.
